Daphne’s use of polymer clay in her art is the most recent means of expression in her life that began with ceramics and fiber arts. She is passionate about “junk,” scraps, and found objects, and loves to recycle these into her art. The range of color possibilities in polymer clay and the intricate patterns millefiori techniques constantly amaze and excite her. Polymer clay gives her a voice to a playfulness in her spirit and captures her delight in life, in color, in texture and in form.
