After operating her own ceramics studio for 25 years, Shirley decided to “dip her brush” into watercolor painting. She joined the Kentucky Watercolor Society and began taking workshops from well-known artists. After winning numerous awards as a Signature Member of the Kentucky Watercolor Society, her interests expanded to include acrylics, which is where her works are concentrated at present.
